b-day

My birthday was last week... Took the day off so I could re-coup some of the weekend days I've been working, and treat myself to some nice birthday self-indulgence. Started off with a massage and pedicure, then moved on to a swim at my friend's place in the French Quarter, followed by cocktails and appetizers, more drinks and craziness on Bourbon Street, I think another swim, and on and on until the wee hours of the morning.

...Took me quite a few days to recover, which I guess is fitting, considering my advanced age nowadays (35!).
